Tea Cosy
My tea cosy consists of a hand-embroidered deign on cotton fabric on the front. The materials are embroidery silks and beads. The front has layers of wadding and cotton. The back is satin (which I quilted using satin and wadding). The whole thing was constructed by had (only the quilting was done by machine. Thee whole thing is lined in white felt and there is cord piping round the edges. It took many weeks of work.
